Engine swap advice?
Hey everyone, i currently have a 1991 Camaro RS, it has a 305 carbed engine, stock trans, and its starting to loose its power, as the enging is the original that came with the car.
the car was owned by a guy that swapped the fuel injection with a carb, so the computer isnt there and the harness is all messed up.
I was planning on getting an LS1, but i think it would be cheaper for a 350 carbed. I don't know much about the LS1, so i have a couple questions.
1. Can LS1s be carbed?
2. How would an LS1 compare to a 350? (was planning on adding a supercharger to the 350)
Any advice would be appreciated.

Sure
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-71187/
but you need a electronic controller for the Ignition

More Hp stock ( and easier to make Hp on ) than 350 but swap costs need to be accounted for

5.3 truck motors are cheap and popular swaps into 3rd Gen's

Re: Engine swap advice?
IMO the 5.3 is another wonderful motor from GM. Hence the popularity.
