I got a 84 berli that has digital gauges.the engine is long gone but was a 305 w/4bbl. I'm hoping there is nohing special about the engine wire harness that would keep me from useing it to put a carbed 305 or 350 into my 85 sports coupe.the 85 i a factory 2.8mpfi.I'm not going to use the digital gauges from the 84.so I will have to find a harness to get that stuff to work.But in the engine compartment,will the stock harness work just like a 305 harness out of any other carbed engine?I do have the a/c compressor and power steiring pump.I even got the stock carb.PO scraped the engine and tran for quick cash.any how,it has some rust issues that make it a good doner.Also,If I switch fuel tanks and use a carbed v8 is there any reson I would need fuel return lines?You know machanical pump type engine.little info before I start would be great.thanks.

 

Darn,nobody even knows anything about the engine set ups on the berlineta's?Maybe I should have asked in the electrical section.If I dont get anything here by tomorrow I will try there.Keep checking around.
