Im in the middle of a v8 swap in my 83 berlinetta (originally a 2.8) and I feel pretty lost at the moment. This is the biggest project I've tried on my own I have a 305 tbi out of a 92 rs, and a 700r4 from a 86 iroc in the car. I got a tbi wiring harness for it but its from 88 this and I'm trying to figure out if I can get it to work together or am I better off getting a new harness? Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 

If you have the original harness to the 83, you should be fine, you'll need to change the pinout of a few connectors, run a wire or two, but for the most part you've got what you need.
