Just starting rebuild!

Hey everyone I know you've probably heard this a million times, but I just got a 1991 Camaro with a 305 in it. I'm currently in the Army and wanting a project car for me and my old man. I want to throw a 350 in the Camaro or possibly bigger. My father is the car guru and I am not lol! I was seeing if anyone could possibly help me with tips on which way to go just a 350 or bigger. I appreciate your time and effort with reading this and possibly answering to my thread. Have a great day!

I am restoring an 87 that had the 305 in it. I am going back in witha 350, the 350 would be a direct bolt in. If Im not mistaken anything bigger and you would have more work to do such as motor mounts etc. Not much more to add as I am still learning as I go myself. Good luck

Re: Just starting rebuild!

Awesome thank you for the reply! That's what I've been reading. I've got a few friends in the auto audio field and I'm thinking about having them fiberglass a custom center console to put my own taste on the interior as well

Any SBC will bolt straight in , including a 400ci, they all share identical block dimensions and engine mounts

Got enough $$$ and you can drop one of these straight in
