Another 305 to 350 swap question
Another 305 to 350 swap question
Greetings I'm new to the site so I may not be posting on the correct area, if so I appologize in advance. I'm trying to find someone out there that has put a 350 in replace of a 305. The 305 had a 4 barrel and the 305 has a 2 barrell. The problem is the 350 2 barrel "bolting plane" is higher than the 305 and my ram air scoop now sits to high and the hood won't shut. Is there an aftermarket intake that will take care of this 1 inch difference in height so I can get my hood to shut correctly??Thanks for your assitance!

Re: Another 305 to 350 swap question
Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.
I think you are saying the 350 has a 2 barrel. Since all 3rd gen 305's had 4 barrels, that would make sense.
Simple solution - put the intake, carb, distributor, air cleaner, etc., etc., etc., on the 350.
