Someone i know has a 350 tbi from a pre 1994 truck for sale .. I need a new motor considering my number 2 cylinder is dead. Does anyone know if i can fit a tpi on it? Its center bolt valve covers.

Yes its the same setup but you need to check the center bolts on the intake for the motor in the truck and make sure they are angled like the ones on your tpi intake. Otherwise if not you would have to change the heads or customize something to work which i dont recommend.

First, what do you mean by Cylinder 2 is dead?
Pre 1994 as long as it is newer then 1987 will work. Look for centerbolt heads, like you have now. Otherwise the intake will not match.
Also, a truck motor is going to have a flat tappet cam, which will be smaller then a stock tpi cam and will not give as much power.
Of course, the truck engine is going to be pretty worn already, like what you have now. At the least you are going to want to check it over, and will probably need a re ring at a minimum.

Re: 305 to 350.
Compression. I would rather have an l98 but i have no choice because right now i aint got 500 for one.. I wanted to tear it down and get it bored n stroked to a 383.. So the cam would be upgraded. If im swapping a motor i wanna do it right.. Will these pullys from my 305 work on this motor? Swapping brakets ofcourse

If you are rebuilding, a core is a core. The Truck heads are not as good as L98 heads.
Yes, all the extranal stuff from the 305 will swap right over to the 350.
