im just wondering if i would have to do alot of modifications to put a bbc in. im thinking of going with a 454 and going to carb. ive got a 305 tbi right now.

 

It's a direct fit. Hardest part is exhaust. Very few if any factory exhaust manifolds will fit. The Hooker swap headers are not cheap and are not a perfect fit. Other have had limited success with some more generic headers.

Don't expect the rest of your drivetrain to survive for long.

 

im gonna beef up the rear end and im looking for a company that can make the wc t5 i got stronger. i dont plan on having some 600hp car id like it to make around 450hp.

 

I doubt it's worth investing any kind of money into a T5 for a BBC unless you're going to granny drive it. T56 can be made to handle the torque.
