I'm looking for a rebuilt/remanufactured 305 TBI... I was planning on ordering one from sandjengines.com / rebuilt-auto-engines.com (( same ppl )) but after doing my homework on them I started seeing a lot of complaints about them, engines leaking, knocking etc and them not honoring their 7 year warranty. So I'm just asking for some help on finding a reliable source to get this engine from. Also I'm going with another 305 simply because when I have it installed I can use the parts from my old engine to complete it, already thought about the 350 but I decided not to. So I just need some help on finding another 305, thanks in advance.

I've installed a few Jasper engines, they are a good place to get engines from.

 

I am in the same boat as you are however I am looking for a 350 short block as I am under the impression that I can take everything from my 305 and put it on a 350.
