I'm sorry to hear that and we're all here to help but we need more info to work with. We arent going to tell you what to build, thats for you to decide, we are here to help with problems along the way or SPECIFIC questions that you may have. Example: We can't help you pick a transmission by you saying either a 5 or 6 speed, but if you would say something like "will my lsx 7.4 with xxx horsepower be too much for a stock LS1 T56 (6 speed) to handle? Then from expireince these guys can tell you what they have learned. Giving specific questions will get you a lot more replies on this thread than what you have now.

Any built T56 will handle the power you need. There's also the "T56 Magnum" which is essentially a T6060 in a T56 style case. That's what I'm going with for my build.

One suggestion that I may make, is that if you're going to supercharge, an LSX454 probably isn't your best starting point. A smaller displacement motor (specifically with a shorter stroke) can be built stronger and with a more supercharger-friendly (lower compression) rotating assembly. The LSX454 is designed to be used in a naturally aspirated configuration, and is optimized for that.

Rather than choose a specific engine combo, I'd take the approach of deciding what horsepower level you want to achieve, and what other aspects are a priority (drive-ability, fuel economy, 1/4 mile times, etc), and design an engine package around that. Sticking to some of her specific desires may dictate the path you choose, but you can still do that with a combination that works.
