suspension/engine/transmission swap

I have a question that I am not really sure how to word. I am brainstorming the best and most effective way to swap out my engine/transmission/front suspension in my 84 z/28. Lets assume all that needs to be out, is out. What I would like to do is drop the car onto a new engine/transmission/front suspension setup. Is this even remotely possible? You do not have to get into the little details but I am interested if anyone has done this or if it is conceptually possible. I believe this can be done with 4th gens. I am thinking ahead for a complete restro.

Yes.

That's the way the factory put the car together. 4 bolts hold the front K-member to the front subframe (along with strut mount, pitman arm, brake lines, sway bar, etc.).

That's what I figured but I have never done it, and that's the only way to learn. Thanks.
