L31 Vortech Swap 89 camaro

I have a crate L31 4 bolt main Vortec in my 89 camaro with head casting number 12558062. From what I've gathered the holes for the headers are about 1/4 inch offset in comparison to regular heads. How much truth there is to that I do not know. My only last hurdle is getting a set of headers that will work with the heads but still clear the frame rails. It seems like a good amount of people do the swap with these heads or engines but never seem to touch on the header subject. Im not trying to buy a bunch of sets to find out none of them will work. Any help would be great. Thanks guys

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.

The Vortec exhaust ports don't cause problems with available 3rd gen headers.

What headers were you considering using?
