305 tpi to 350 carb. need help getting rid of unneeded wires and such
Hey guys I have a 89 Iroc that came with a 305tpi engine. I am swapping a 350 out a monte carlo with a 350 trans into it. I have a lot of wites hanging around in the engine bay. I wanted to see if some body could tell me exactly what I need and dont need. Ive looked in other posts but nothing really gave me a straight answer. Can somebody help?

If this was my project, I wouldn't have any wires left over, because I would have only put the 350 longblock in place of the 305, and left everything else the same - including the transmission. But, it's not my project.
You need the wires to the distributor/coil, alternator, oil pressure gauge, temperature gauge sender (in the driver side head), choke thermostat (assuming carb w/electric choke), and the starter. The rest can be removed without cutting anything (except possibly electrical tape).
