new third gen engine install

Hey everyone, I bought a 88 z-28 it had a 305 in it but was mostly torn down. I finished tearing out the 305 and assembled a 350 with the tpi on it. I got it all put In And got everything hooked up I think, since I didn't do the whole tear down I did my best to hook up everything. So it has a five speed by the way. So I am missing something because it won't crank and I don't hear the fuel pump but I do have headlights and a cooling fan that must be wired directly to a ignition hot wire cause it works. But that is all got I know it could probably be a bunch of things but is there something that screems out hey you forgot to hook me up like a sensor or power wire to the ecu or something? I do have power to the starter.

I believe I would start by testing the FP hot wire. You can locate it between the back seats where it goes through the body to the tank. I would also check the ign wire to the starter solenoid.

Did you play with the clutch petal while tearing this down, if so check under the dash to make sure the switch was not put out of place. I just did that, mine would not crank and that was the reason

Make sure you have all the grounds on the back of the block. I know there are 2 might be 3 that get bolted to the back of the block.

just what the last guy said, check the grounds that go to the back of the block/heads at the fire wall. I had the same problem and it was just one little ground wire and it drove me nuts!
