swapping bigger than a 350 block questions
i recently came to the conclusion that i dont want to rebuild my l98 and put it back in, i am wanting to throw a bigger motor than a 350, possibly a 427 or something else carburated in and i would like to put a roots type blower on as well, i have looked and havent found anybody that has done this, anybody have any suggestions on motors or do's or dont's? thanks!!

Don't drive it after you get it done?
You either haven't looked too hard, or haven't used good search terms if you haven't found anything. But, IMHO, 3rd gen + roots blown BBC = trailer queen.

Look at youtube.
There are quite a few blown bigblock thirdgens!!
If youre talking 427 small block, dimensions are the sam as 350.
To see a gorgeous driven blown small block, look up

You would have a hard time getting that blower under the hood I went with a 377 with a carb and I'm going to put a 76 mm turbo in the rear it will make all the power that I can put to the ground
