Okay so the engine is out of the car.... FINALLY !!! That damn thing faught me every step of the way !! And I mean until the bitter end ! The damn thing wouldn't let go of the last bolt on the flywheel and we somewhat rounded the bolt head. So the machine shop will have to deal with it.

And so begins the machine work and the rebuild when I get all the parts back !

 

There's a huge difference between "Oh, I have a 350(s) after all!" and those 350's actually having decent heads. Even the 083 heads are child's play compared to Vortecs, which are, as I explained, derived from the LT1 program.

 

I have 22lb injectors I just purchased from southbay that are for the 350. I went with a 383 and ended up purchasing some 30lb injectors for it. I got a discount on them (3rd gen) so you can have them for what I paid.

 

Thanks for the offer but the 350 that was in the car already has 22lb injectors.
