Hi all I have a 89 Formula with a 305 and WC t-5, and the engine is shot and not worth putting any more $ into. I am looking at putting a 350 in as I need more power but I plan to just drive it daily. The tpi wires have been cut and splice all over. I don't know what to do and what are my options. I was looking a the Weiand upper would I use a computer or I need to get a different system. If someone could point me in the direction on a block and EFI would be appreciated. Plan to get a block from a JY if that helps. Thanks

 

hawksthirdgenparts.com should be a good place to start. they sell 350 TPI motors complete with harness for 1200$. im looking into getting one of them myself also

 

In what way is the engine "shot"?

 

Engine has a bad knock won't hold idle I real don't want to spend any more money trying to get it to run. So if I a l31 short block and get a Weiand stealth can my computer run this set up?

 

Told the guy who is going to do the swap to look for a L31 in good shape hope he can find one. Would like to drive the car this summer just don't want to go broke trying to get there.

 

The guy doing the swap is having a hard time finding a L31 in good shape here. Starting to lose faith that I will get this car running this year. Always loved this car but didn't want to spend for a new engine yet but might have to.
