Change 350 carbed to TPI??
So i just bought a carbed 350 out of an 88 chevy suv for 500 to replace the 305 TBI in my 92 camaro. Its been re-built about 10,000 miles ago. I would like to get a decent amount of HP out of it, so i will be doing a re-build... Again... I would like to Change it to a 350-383 TPI. Does anyone know what might be entailed in the swap?? I already have all the 3.5" exhaust ready and the Headers. Any advice??

If they are the stock '88 350 TBI heads, they gotta go.

I believe he said that they are aftermarket aluminum heads. I'll have to look again.

Plan on a new wire harness for all the new injectors, A new TPI in tank Fuel pump, computer chip upgrade that's just a few things that will be required. Many surprises to come! Have fun and GOOD LUCK!

You will need a 350 tune ( prom ) in your existing ECM , 350 injectors and a 350 TPI knock sensor
Only consideration is what cam is in the new 350 ; not all are compatible with computers
