rookie quest

V6 to v8 rs with 700r4 and I'm trying to figure out y the tranny crossmember for my v8 isn't working out! Then I was going to connect a v6 tranny mount to my v8 tranny and can't see a difference in any picture between the mounts. What am I doing wrong? How do I connect my v8 to the v6 crossmember? Thx
