97 350 into 1985tpi
Hi all. I have a friend with a 1997 suburban with a 350. He is almost giving me the engine. Will my tpi bolt up to it, or do I need to change heads? also which would make more power, my tpi on it or just going to an old school carb setup?

If its Vortex then keep the heads for sure, but your TPI won't with them. You will need a different intake manifold.

Keep the Vortec heads.
Your TPI intake won't fit them.
Get rid of the TPI, BUT NOT by putting a carb on it.
Take a good hard look at the Stealth Ram instead.

The stealth ram looks awesome. Will it then use my stock computer and harness?
