91 camaro z28 starting problems!

i have a 91 camaro z28 with a 305 bored .30 over. After getting the car to operating temperature it wont start. If i let it set their and cool down it will start right back up about 20 mins later without spray starting fluid in it. I figured it may have been the fuel pump getting weak so i changed it, then i changed everything in the distributor as far as the button and cap, changed wires and plugs, and its still doing it. When it wont start i throw my fuel pressure gauges on and its normal, and i check the spark and its good. I was thinking maybe the security but all i have to do is spray starting fluid in it and it will fire right up. Any suggestions or anything would be great! Thanks

Sound similar to what I was JUST going through. I see you did install a new cap and rotor, did you replace the ICM? I did and problem solved. I also read here the fuel injectors if old as well as the coolant temp sensor can be the issue too. Hope this helps!
