There is a chance that no one saw this, for instance, I just now saw it.
Ok, so a quick inventory:
You have an 87 roller, with a transmission
a 91 305 with all the required stuff (harness, etc).
What part is giving you issues exactly? My thoughts would be if you have all the wires then you could just remove what you don't need that is currently on the car and go from there.

The 87 camaro came with a mecanical fuel pump off the motor. The 91 camaro had a electrical fuel pump In the tank. That's why you have more wires

When it comes to electrical always ask yourself "Do I know without a shadow of a doubt what this wire goes to?" before cutting ANYTHING
Next, why did you cut it there? There is no reason to
The proper method of converting harnesses is to repin the body connectors. Since your TBI harness is essentially trash now, Id find an 88 TBI harness and move the C221 off the 87 harness. Basically plug and play into an 86-87

If I convert to carb how hard would it be? That motor is timed ect already so wat would I need? Aside from a carb and new intake honestly which would be less of a headache for a novice going carb or doing the tbi

Carb would be simple to install. Tuning it properly is a whole new can of worms

If you don't have the entire donor car that the engine came from. The engine swap can be difficult. Your best bet is to buy a old 350 truck motor and dropping it in. You need battery voltage to the ignition coil and that's it. The rest is all vacuum powered.

No. I was actually going to comment on that statement. '87 2.8 had electronic fuel injection, and therefore an electric pump in the tank. However, since it had a V8 swapped into it before you got the car, all bets are off regarding what's in the tank now.

Find the additonal info thread in the LS1 swap sticky. It has C100/C207 pinouts for every year 3rd gen. Compare the 92 to 87 and repin the 92 to match your 87
