Cost to finish L31 swap
So my poor 86' has been off the road for about a year and a half while it's undergone the worlds slowest engine swap. A lot of this is due to the fact that it's my parents house in Mass and I go to school in Texas. I'm around for a bit now but I doubt I'll have time to finish the swap and to be honest I'm a little over my head. I was wondering if anyone knows about how much it would cost to have a shop finish the swap. The original engine was a carved 305 and I swapped it for an L31 5.7l vortec from a '99 K1500 which I converted to carb. The engine is in and bolted up to the tranny but that's about as far as I got.

Throw on a non computer carb & distributor, get a lock up kit for the transmission, convert it over to serp belt drive(so you can use a vortec water pump).
You need to make a list of stuff that needs to be done, then tackle them one at a time.
