Crate 350 swapped, what next?

Ok, i'm new to the forum so ill start with what i have. I just bought my 89 Camaro RS and it has a crate 350 4 bolt with a rebuilt 700r4 with a mild shift kit.
engine has...
aluminum heads
roller rockers and small cam but not sure measurements
chrome valve covers
air gap intake
holley 750cfm carb
also it has switches hooked up for a torque converter locker, and exterior engine cooler.
Now really im just trying to see what i might do as a next step, if anyone may have any ideas.
also, im not sure EXACTLY what the motor is or power output, would anyone have an idea on a guesstimate by the listed parts? not a huge deal, just curious before i get it on the dyno.
Thanks in advance for anything

Re: Crate 350 swapped, what next?

There's a lot of factors that go into hp. Just waiting for the dyno would be your best bet because someone is either going to tell you way under what it actually is (and depress you now) or way over what it actually is (and depress you when you hit the dyno).

Your carb MIGHT be a little big for that setup, but if it's tuned correctly it's doable.

Did you build the engine yourself?

i did not build it. thats the key reason im going through the motor this week. im making sure everything is up to par myself. but everything i have seen so far has checked out with flying colors.

Have you put subframe connectors on yet?

What kind of condition is the suspension in?

These would be a couple things to track down, build the car to handle the motor, if that makes sense.

it doesnt have subframe connectors, but the suspension is mostly new. new air shocks and front shocks all in great condition. im really not sure what to do as far as upgrading the other parts like subframe connectors, because im still really new to this scene. im a body man, and pretty good mechanically, but new to upgrading.

Sounds like you have a good starting point, having the suspension taken care of is nice.

All subframe connectors do is stiffen these cars up, they make bolt in and weld in versions varying in price from $175 on up. They're pretty simple, literally just two metal bars that go under the car. If you check the Chassis board on here you'll find a lot of good info on what brands are good, etc.

ya im definitely pumped about this. i think i got a lot for my money. only 1900 for everything seems pretty damn good, since i can count 3000 in the motor alone.
