Fuel Injection to Carb

For those who have gone from TPI or fuel injection to carb did you have to run new fuel lines to fuel pump on front of block or how did you do it?

Re: Fuel Injection to Carb

2 ways of doing it. You keep your stock fuel lines with both.

You can keep and use the stock in the tank elec fuel pump, install a mallory $90 fuel pressure reg. on the supply line under the hood, adjust pressure down to 5-6 psi, and just leave mech. pump un hooked, or remove it and put on a block off plate.

Or you can....
Remove fuel tank pickup/sender/pump and replace the pump with a length of fuel line , compression fittings or rubber/hose clamp...... Or replace the whole sender/pickup with a new one from a non EFI third gen.

Then just hook your fuel line up to the block mounted mech. pump (you will have to add some line to reach to the pump)

Yea. Once you're out of the regulator you should be at 5-6 ish psi. So you can use rubber and hook it up. Also I believe all of the wires that come from passenger fender are able to be removed to clean things up.
