Fourth gen question, evap?

I have a 2002 Trans Am plastic fuel tank with the eval canister mounted on it. Does anyone have a wiring diagram showing where the wiring coming from the evap system on the tank goes? It has a white and a red wire coming out of the evap purge solenoid valve. Can these be handled by the PCM (95 Caprice) ?

If someone has a diagram showing the PCM plugs, I might be able to find the answer. Thanks guys

Re: Fourth gen question, evap?

if the Caprice has a purge solenoid- pretty sure they do- then use the wires for that. the wires will probably even be the same color..

you can find all the wiring diagrams you need online. i found a whole bunch of them a few years ago when i thought i was going to swap an LT1 out of a 94 Caprice 9C1 into my Camaro and used them to whittle the engine harness down to the bare minimum needed for the car to run before deciding to just throw a carbed 305 in the car for a road trip and selling the LT1 and everything associated with it..

Re: Fourth gen question, evap?

Found 2 diagrams showing the wiring to the evap canister purge solenoid and the evap canister vent solenoid. Both have pink and white wires. the white goes to the PCM and the pink goes to engine control fuse under the hood. My Caprice PCM has an evap canister purge solenoid valve control (D10), but no evap canister vent solenoid tab on the PCM. Looking at the diagrams closely, it shows a connection between the 2 white wires at the plug just before going into the PCM. Can I assume that if I connect the 2 white wires and then connect to the (D10) on my PCM and the 2 pink wires to "key on, crank, run" circuit, that it might work? The Firebird PCM has a separate tab labeled eval canister vent solenoid control.
