More questions about a 350 RamJet
Okay I am seriously considering dropping in some kind of 350 this spring/summer. I am thinking a 350 RamJet is a good investment. Can someone give me some specifics on this engine. I've visited some parts sites, and they give vague descriptions. Now I read somewhere that a RamJet 350 comes with an ECU that has all the sensors and whatnot in one place, so they dont take up space and clutter the engine compartment. I am VERY computer dumb when it comes to engines, so lemme know if I am wrong.
The RamJet sounds appealing because it makes good power, is fuel injected, and I hear it has very few wires, vacuum lines, etc, so actually getting in there and working on the thing will be easier. Anyone here done a 350 RamJet conversion? I know there is another 350 RamJet thread, but I didnt wanna take up space from guys who wanted to help that guy, so I made another thread.
EDIT: I also noticed on the pictures of the engine, the injection seems really tall, so would I need some kind of cowl induction hood for clearance? Just wondering, I was planning on getting one anyways, I want a big block style hood(not a Daytona one)
