recommendations please
I've scoured these and many many other forums to try and find an answer maybe im not asking the right questions or to dumb to get it. But my question is this, I know that everyone says a set of l92 heads and a good cam will put me 500+ hp at the flywheel i was wondering if i could just port the stock heads that are on my 6.0 lq9 (2003 escalade) and throw in a texas speed tsunami cam (spring pushrods etc.) And still obtain numbers close to 500? My true goal was 600 with 500 and some change to the rear. Also i know the tsunami is going to leave me lacking in low range power which highly upsets me because light to light power is what i honesty want. I want to rip off the line haha.

Re: recommendations please
It would take a pretty serious ported 317 casting (assuming thats what you have) and a high revving valvetrain to get to 500 whp on a 6.0
You can easily make 400-450 whp tho
Ls3/L92 type heads in stock form can get real close if not over 500whp in 6 spd cars with a good cam. Strokers do well with stock heads
6.0 will do 450-475 fairly easily with ls3 top end with proper cam.
I wouldnt use tsp valvetrain components (prc springs) they have been known to break as of late. Use pac springs
You can easily make 400-450 whp tho

Re: recommendations please
Best budget setup is goin to be ls3 head and intake. L92 head same deal but heavier valves.
My friends shop uses brian tooley for their cams and have seen great results in both overall power and driveability
