i got a 87 iroc with a 305 ho and i was wondering if the computer would need a chip to run a 350 or 383 its not going to be a real monster motor or any mayb 400 horses what would i need to make themotor work any help would be good thanks

 

The TPI system will run, but even a 305 will run better with chip improvements. You should at least get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator for a 350, larger injectors as well for 383.

Hope you plan on exhaust upgrades while you're at it.

 

i got a flowmaster muffler and 3" pipe ith no cat will it run a 350 without a prssure regulater i only am going to hve the motor in there for like a year i ont want to put a bunch of money in it cause i am going to do a 400 up

 

if your running TPI your gonna have to track down a computer from a 350.
