Which distributor to use Vortec or Origional?

Engine: 5.7 Vortec w/ factory TPI
Transmission: WC T-5
Axle/Gears: 3.45 Posi
Which distributor to use Vortec or Origional?
I am having a brain fart moment and need some advice.
Dropping a 5.7 vortec out of a '98 tahoe into my '87 IROC. I will be using a speed density tpi setup out of a '90 T/A and the injection will be managed by a FAST Multi-Port Retro EZ-Efi kit.
Which distributor should I use? The vortec one from '98 or the one that would have come on it in '90?

Use the 90 distributor, the vortec "crab cap" will not fit with TPI and would be a pita to make it work. JM2C!

the electronics are also different on the vortec unit, in addition to the body being plastic..
