Fuel system suggestions and ideas
I've got a 468 with an 8-71 blower dual carb set up, I'd like to keep my stock tank if possible. It was a V6, so it still has the in tank pump, my question is can I remove the in tank pump, drill a spot in the lowest point of the tank and weld in an AN fitting to feed my external pump. Also, I'm thinking of running 1/2" supply and 3/8" return? How's that sound? I tried a search for fuel system modifications and found nothing to help me in this situation. Thanks in advance!!

So you're saying that what I was thinking of doing would be fine? Or is welding on a sump something else?
