Anyone swapped in an LT-1 to their existing 305 tpi five speed ?

Just trying to find out if the tranny will bolt up, what you did for an ECM, etc.... thinking about the swap..

Chevy's original idea for the 25th Anv Z's was the lt-1, but they nixed it because of costs, was thinking maybe I should build the car they never did and was hoping someone else already had to give me some advice....

Umm i think you mean LT1, the reason he said that was the early 70's had a LT-1 made 360 HP carbed i believe, the LT1 is the gen 2 small block, yes it will bolt up to your existing transmission, not likely to hold for long before grenading, you'll need a new engine harness and PCM, since you already have the SD computer etc, i'd put a good longblock with modified LT1 intake on there, good luck.
