305 to 350/383 TPI swap what can I re-use?
I'm wanting to swap my perfectly good 305TPI for a 350/383 in my '87 GTA.
1) What can I reuse from my 305 TPI?
2) What is a 305 motor with about 3K miles on it worth? It's not the original block.

What you CAN use and what you SHOULD use are two different things.
You CAN use it all.
You SHOULD get higher flowing components for the 383 at least - base, runners, plenum, TB, injectors, and an AFPR to tune it. Exhaust upgrades should be considered a given.
The 350 will work with the 305 stuff, but even 305's gain from increased flow. AFPR always a good idea.
Customized PROM also a good idea.
You should be able to get at least $500 out of a sound 305.
