Has anyone on here swapped a L98 into a truck? I tried the search feature and didn’t find anything. I have a 99 Sierra classic that I use for the occasional trip for the deer woods and thought since they generally have good low to mid range torque that they may be a okay towing motor.

 

Seems like somebody has one in a S truck of some sort... don't know if they use it for seriously truckish things or what, though.

 

TPI is known as the best truck motor that was never offered in a truck.

 

I was just looking at the specs and I’m like hell why waste a good TPI motor. It seemed like the low to mid range torque is exactly what you would want in a truck motor.
