Car: 1986 Pontiac firebird
Engine: 2.8 v6
89 firebird 305 swap
I have the 89 2.8l v6 and I am planning on swapping the 305 v8 into it. I was wondering if there would be any major problems or if I have to get a different ecu

If it is TPI or TBI, then full engine harness and ecm are needed with it. Along with mounts, fuel, exhaust and other misc. If carburated, then all the same except no computer needed.
