im back after a few years of being gone . got rid of my 92 rs . now im back with a 88 iroc z . im putting a 5.3 with a 7875 turbo . th400 tranny im putting a stage 2 btr turbo cam
right now im jus buying parts . hopefully ill get the engine in the car in the spring

i got one .im thinking about a spool gun . then a friend sent me this video . hopefully it works good an saves me 200 bucks on a spool gun

 

From the video it seems like it would work fine for occasional use. If you are planning on doing a lot of aluminum welding, I think I would spring for the spool.

i run into a problem putting last 4 springs in . air pressure kept leaking down an valve was dropping . so im gonna pull heads an go ahead an change lifters to ls7 lifters an a ls9 head gasket an arp head bolts. trick flow duel springs .600 lift
