2.8 to 3.4 worth it?
I know there are multiple threads on this topic, but is there a noticeable difference in power or anything? Because my 2.8 is leaking oil, (probably rear main seal), but I want something with more umph.(obviously it's a Camaro). However I still have to get the 3.4 for like $800 then get gaskets to swap oil pan, chain cover, filter housing etc. So basically what I'm asking is, is the swap truly worth doing or should I just stick with the 2.8 mpfi(assuming that it is just the seal that's leaking)?

IMO???? Well, I just did a basic stock for stock upgrade... no turbo, no hybrid etc.... It wasnt really that much of a difference..... i mean im happy its a LITTLE more responsive.... but its kinda like asking for more ketchup packets and the person gives you 2.... I'm happy I got the most out of what I can for a easy / no modifications / no custom fab engine swap....
If you want POWER..... you need to go out and buy the whole ketchup bottle (V8) lol

If you would like to stay V6, I recommend the Buick 3.8L (Original RWD, not the 3800 RWD).
There is more support for the Engine Platform over the Chevrolet 60*V6.
...Also the Chevrolet 60*V6 is a HORRIBLE Engine Platform!
