95/3.4 did I screw up?

95/3.4 did I screw up?

my sons 90 firebird has trouble in the 3.1.So I bought a 95 camaro 3.4 to do a swap with.I read ked85 swap bogie thing that stated only a 93-94 will work.Is that true?Please tell me a 95 will work like the 93@94

It's the same. I believe that the 3.8 was a mid year change or something like that, but if it is a 3.4 it should work.

I have used 3 1995 3.4 engines, all from Camaros. One is in my 1988, one is in my son's 1991 and the other is in my 1987 Fiero GT. They all go right in place of the 2.8. i recommend using the 3.4 oil pan as it clears the crossmember better than the 2.8 oil pan that came stock on the Camaros & Firebirds
