92 Rs 305 TBI to 89 L98 165 swap.
So I'm looking for someone who has done this swap. If you would be so kind to drop some info on this swap. I have a 89 350 L98 TPI with the 165 ecm complete harness and ecm that i want to swap into my 92 rs with tbi. What did you need to modify for this to work.

Gonna be picking up a 730 ECM and repinning my 165 harness. Seems like the way to go.

besides the wiring , You need a new fuel pump & you need a new knock sensor for 90-92 it’s a 3.9k ohm in resistance compared to the 100 ohm tpi maf. You might want to consider a new plenum too so the map has its own vacuum signal.
