94 LS1 RPO code
I just picked up a beat up 94 TA to use as a donor car for my 92 TA Vert. It has a 5.7 and 6 speed stick so looking forward to digging into it. I was going through the RPO codes and it has a LS1 in the codes instead of LT1. I've looked it up and it was a valid code in 94 but my understanding it true LS1s didn't com out until 1995. . Engine looks like a LT1. Does anyone know what the difference would be having an LS1 code rather than the LT1?

RPO codes are re-used over and over. Look at the LT1- we're on the third iteration already, at least 2 times for LS6.... interior stuff too, like HVAC, even across platforms

It's the Space Aliens again.
They got bored with creating crop circles and Elvis sightings one dark and stormy night, and just for variety, snuck into the assembly plant and installed a Feature From the Future into just that one car.
Yeah right. Troll...
