350 build up
350 build up
i got my hands on a 350block not sure what year exactly but i traced the casting number back to a 80-85
casting # bore year main seal
14010207 350 80-85 2 or 4
im building it up, was going to bore it like 30, or 40 over and use
Federal Mogul bearings (cam, main, rod)
Federal Mogul 30 over forged pistons (if i go 30 over)
not sure what rods i want to use
i want to build it up to run a 100-150shot of NOS
im going to rework my heads too not sure what im doing to those yet, want opinions on the lower end,
matt

never used NOS before, but I would say forged pistons, get on Scoggin-Dickey website and get a Nodular Iron crank for $189 which is stronger than a cast crank, but if you can afford it get a steal crank ($550-$1400). They also have a good deal on LT4 PM connecting rods that can handel upto 450HP $204 for the set. Just some ideas, hopefully someone that knows more than me will reply to your post.
