LT1 or LS1 Swap Kit for 3RD Gen

Hi all,

I am considering doing an LS1 or LT1 swap for my 91 TP1 Formula. Are there any kits available that include harness and ECM. Are there issues for gauges? Can the 700r4 handle the power? Lastly, how much will the comversion cost?

Thanks for your help.

No kit available, it's called "do it yourself"

How did you handle the electronics? Did you use the LT1 ECM. Was there any incompatiility with the gauges?

I did the wiring myself using the TBI harness and the LT1 harness.
wasn't that hard ... you couls also purchase a painless wiring of jegs but it's actually about the same thing as doing one yourself.

LS1IROCZ, what kinda mounting brackets did you use? did you buy that LS1 crate? how long did that swap take you? Any serious or moderate modifications that you needed to do?
