So I know of someone with a square body c20 chevy (the truck is torn apart and not fixable unless someone with deep pockets) anyways it has just the block of what I'm guessing is a 350. Keep in mind this truck hasn't moved in years, would it be wise to try and get the block and then rebuild it and put it in my 91 Camaro RS with a 305? The 305 was rebuilt around 130 or 140 thousand miles and it has about 224 thousand now, the 305 still runs fine.
Probably a 010 block, get a used vortec or roller 350.

Some unknown farm truck short block? Nope.
Get an L31 from a yard or a crate L31

You are better off with your roller engine 305 than an old flat tappet 350 smog motor from an 70s-80s pickup truck.

305 -> 350: yes
Old truck motor: no
Agree with the 96 -2000 motor instead
