305 TPI to 350

My engine dies on me and i will be getting a crate 350. My question is what can i use from the previous engine, as per the TPI and computer and injectors. Form what i know, i need different injector, those i do have from an '87 350 TPI, and the computer i need to find from somewhere.

Thanks,

Dave

Actually, you can use it all. An adjustable fuel pressure regulator will allow you to use the 305 injectors as well. You want to keep the cam reasonable so you don't have a mis-match between the cam power range and the TPI power range.

If you want to OPTIMIZE everything, that's a different story...

For now i was planning to get a short block for around $1300 and using the stock stuff i have, then when i get money slowly build it up. Only thing i want to get now is headers, since the engine will be out of the car.

ideas on headers would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave
