ADVICE& OPINIONS

CURRENTLY=1991 FIREBIRD FORMULA(WS6) LB9.auto POSI 2.73 gear DAILY DRIVER.
Well, I got my NEW sp350/357 long block, 24lb. injectors from Southbay and my FIRST TPI intake will be here in the next day or two.
- I am trying to decide on what to do for COMPUTER/pcm. I have been leaning torward EBL P4 but have been reading alot about the "411" swap and coil on plug. Are eithier of these 2 options worth it for me? Or should I just get a NEW PROM/chip with tune? I am totally a "NUBE" and learing as I go, making EBL P4 really appealing. If I were to go "411," I would need to upgrade to "Electronic" transmission, correct? REALISTICALLY, will my stock transmission and rear end be ok for a lil' while? How about the "stall-converter" ? i've heard s-10 converter will work well? I am planning for headers (prolly mid-length) and exhaust but havent decided yet .(i'm aware its not something to go cheap on.) I know the 2.73 gear isnt very desireable, and not sure what to do or if I should wait til after swap is done to address it. ALSO, is a 4thGen fuel tank something I should do now, along with swap? I am learning and want to be realistic with what I can accomplish and afford.

This is where I am, so its getting time to finish my shopping list so I can get it done before Winter's over. ANY Advice and Opinion as to what I should do and which route to go on aforementioned is REALLY APPRECIATED.

Re: ADVICE& OPINIONS

The one thing that would make the Car more fun to drive, that does not cost a ton of Money...
Would be to get rid of the 2.73:1 Gear-Set.

Get yourself a 3-Series Carrier, and a 3.55:1 or 3.73:1 Gear-Set (used from a Fourth-Gen or other... or new).
The 2.73:1 Gears really take a lot of the fun out of driving the Car.

Gears will make a tremendous difference below 50 mph which is the zone that determines how fast you roll out from a stop.
