Motor mount question chevy 8.1 swap

Hi all,
I have a 1985 berlinetta that I have almost finished the front end rebuild on, however I'm running into a problem with the motor mounts. I took out the v6 2.8l and I'm putting the 8.1 motor from my old truck into the camaro ( no I don't want to put a 6.0 in it). It will fit its just like the 454 not concerned about clearances, but from what I have read, tight fit. I just don't understand what mounts I need. Would I need to use the stock clam shell mounts still on the k- member . Iv researched but just can't find the answer or at least an image of how it goes together. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would help a lot. Thanks in advance

You need V8 mounts, which are different from the 6-cyl ones.

Okay I ordered the v8 mounts from a v8 camaro and I found the dirty dingo spacer plates for the engine then you an use the mount part on the block. I have a set of motor mounts from the truck for this motor would these be an option also 🤔. Or would that require fab work

The V8 clamshells will bolt right on to the 8.1 block. The 8.1 is drilled for both the old 3 bolt mounts and the LS style 4 bolts. The 8.1 does use metric bolts.
