Good buddy of mine let me have a 454 out of a Monaco Cavalier motorhome. Was thinking of swapping it into the camaro and slapping some LSX coils on it, I know it can be done with this kit.

Or can I ****** the components from a gen 5 ? Has anybody done this swap?. Description says that it will work on gen 4s but have to machine balancer and check for clearance. Also saw a post were the front of gen 5 oil pan was welded onto a gen 4 pan to make it work. Is this 454 a good performer otherwise ?
