O k I have a nineteen eighty eight camaro base model with a 305 Tbi / 700r. That being said, I have upgraded the fuel system, the exhaust and open element air cleaner. New trans and 4th gen 342 rear differential.
Now i'm looking to swap a new 350 crate engine for the 305. Would like to be in the 350 to 400 hp area. Specs say the 350 is 300hp as it sits now.
I know I need bigger injectors, knock sensor, esc module, and a tune.(have tuner pro rt and cable)
also need prom burning hardware.
where should i get prom stuff from? Ebay does not have anything i recognize for burning proms.
Do i need a different tbi housing?
what about an intake?
Should i consider a TPI?
Are the holley projections what i need?
I have a 8063 ecm do I need to swap to a 8747?
The cam is a marine cam what should i put in it an lt1?
I know this is a lot of asks but I read through the swap threads and still have these questions. Maybe I missed some info or some thing.

Get a reman Vortec 350.Get an LT4 Hotcam. Have the heads setup to take more lift. Get headers and full 3in exhaust. Get a Holley Sniper system because it is self tuning.

It is not. Personally not a fan of aftermarket EFI controllers. In fact about to swap the garbage Proflow 4 controller to a P59 with coil near plug on my mild L31. The PF4 runs ok but cannot be adjusted to run correctly.

The issue is that i have a new 350 already but it has a marine cam in it. Hard to justify another engine and the funds for it. Funds are an issue thats why i am trying to use current TBI with upgrades for the swap. Thanks for your input i do appreciate it.

You can run that on TBI. Larger injectors and/ or bump up fuel pressure. You can get the TBI and intake bored to 46 or 50mm also. Chip will probably need to be made. I went this route when i did my 350 swap and it runs fine but you wont be making 300hp much less 350
