Converting LB9 to use LS wiring harness

Has anyone ever tried to convert a TPI engine to use the LS wiring? Ive got a fairly fresh 350 that i custom built years ago but the ECM is my limit and i cant find anyone to burn PROM's for an 1985. I dont want to junk my engine nor buy a whole new engine so im looking for advice or direction

Your TPI harness and an LS are too far different to try and make a Frankenstein product. You'll need to ditch the TPI harness and start researching LS wiring.

Or you could buy a Painless Performance TPI engine harness ( I think there's one for sale in the parts section) and convert your ECM to one from Dynamic EFI. Not that difficult and relatively cheap, probably $1000 all in with new stuff, less if you found those things used.

I assume you are more interested in the LS ECM capabilities vs the wiring? If that is the case I would research any of the aftermarket set-ups that are all widely used. FI Tech, Holley EFI, etc.

You can start here for some light reading on LS wiring stuff . https://www.eficonnection.com/. I'll just dust off the antique and totter on down the road...

Re: Converting LB9 to use LS wiring harness

I feel badly saying this because Brian P said both comments...
I mean no offense.

I would avoid using anything from Painless Performance.
Their Harnesses are really poorly made (especially the Wire Crimping) and use poor Materials.
Go with something from Holley (Better quality, but not great. None of the big Brands are great unfortunately.)

If purchasing Connector Components, avoid EFI Connection. (They are way over priced.)
Instead purchase from Mouser.com and use the Thread below by QwkTrip:

No offense taken, vortec. Those parts worked for me a number of years ago but I read your posts diligently and gladly defer to your considerable expertise.
