1990 TPI LS Swap tach & speedo
Can someone please point me in the right direction, I've spent a 3 days trying to search how to get the speedometer and tachometer to work with my swap. The car is a 1990 TPI IROCZ, which now has been swapped with 5.3L T56 ..I have the Dakota Digital SGI-100BT, all i can find is information for people that have the vss buffer box, that states to tie into the k pin which I don't have. Please someone help me out

Attempted to wire it up the tachometer directly to the back of the wiring of the cluster with no luck, used pin 7 passenger side..I even changed the the signals to the sgi from input 4cyl to output 8cyl

hope this helps a little, I have not done it myself yet but will be doing it soon, the sgi-100BT PDF covers all the different scenarios - I beleive Page 8 covers the setup for our speedos APPLICATION #3 (H-L) (someone correct me if I'm wrong)
http://www.skulte.com/T56.html' The f-body T56 has a 17 pulse per driveshaft revolution VSS signal generator in the tailshaft. This has to get converted to a 4000 (or 2000) pulse per mile signal for your VSS buffer input. dakota box is spliced in between the transmission and chassis wiring.'
