383 SBC stroker

Hi guys, I need some advice on this build. I’m currently putting a 383 Stroker in my 86 iroc the block is a 1 piece rear main seal . Can someone tell me if there’s a difference between the flywheel for a one piece and two piece main seal ??? Thanks

Yes. The bolt pattern and the center pilot are much smaller on the 1-pc.

Your 86 motor should have been a 1-pc. Therefore you should be able to use your existing flywheel, subject to balance issues. Which are entirely dependent on how the 383 is built.
